Writing the ideal wedding vows
It is becoming ever increasingly popular in today’s world that people are writing their own wedding vows and steering away from the more traditional ones. One of the main things that gets some controversy is when a woman has to agree to obey her husband. Many people find this is too outdated and decide to remove it. You can then expand on these on a separate piece of paper and keep referring back to your main bullet points for the next thing to write about. Many couples decide to write their vows together this means they will both match and none will outshine the other. Many think you will be including will be very personal but you should also not forget to include many of the traditional vows at the same time. The main thing to remember is that you mean all the words that you are writing down and they come straight from your heart. This is important for both partners.
Once you have both finished the first draft of your wedding vows it is a very good idea to read them out loud to each other. Then if something doesn’t sound quite right you can quickly amend it. This may take a bit of time but will be well worth it on the big day. This will really make the ceremony stand out from the more traditional ones that many people find to be long, boring and drawn out.
